President Bush got a shoe thrown at him during a press conference in Iraq. And another shoe.
I don't endorse that kind of behavior and wish none of my Presidents, former or future, any disrespect as this.
If that was a foretelling of what President Elect Barack Obama has to deal with, then I am very outraged to see that this United States of America has to deal with that kind of disrespect.
I think Barack would catch the shoe and toss it back....and then security would have a field day with the thrower. But let's not go there, SECRET SERVICE MEN, DO YOUR JOB. Don't let anything that could hurt our Presidents get a chance to even leave someone's hand.
President Bush commented that it was a size ten. I'm so happy that he was alive to comment anything.
Let's keep all our living former, present and future Presidents in our prayers. The global world is much different now and if someone thinks they can throw a show at our President and get away with it, what else?
