So many have left us this year. I still reflect on many, not in order of passing: Rosa Parks, Richard Pryor, Delores C. Tucker, Nipsy Russell, the nice young man who played on the television show Moesha, Johnny Cochran, Luther Vandross, Diane Horn, Ossie Davis, Brock Peters, music entertainers, screenwriters, etc. As you shared in our lives in some way I dedicate my song to you....Comments welcomed to write in more souls in the public domain of whom we lost. Also my Aunt Rosalie Batiste was a special person who we, the Boyd, Miller, Thomas and Batiste lost. She was a great women from the Thomas/Batiste family
You're A Winner
By Princene (all rights reserved)
As you move ahead
to new experiences in life
just remember God's watching you
day and night...
(chorus)
Winners never quit
so keep on going through
no matter what's ahead
the open door's for you
so walk on through
(repeat)
You're a Winner
You're a Winner
A Winner
Yes you are....
President Bill Clinton honored Rosa Parks with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Let's remember that we are free to do good to and for our God, ourselves, and our fellow man.
Rosa Parks, at the age of 92, R.I.P.
